Are we seeing a lot more listings? While many people have taken the recent events as a sign to sell their property, we are finding the market is absorbing those units as they com on the market -as of yesterday there were 720 Residential listings in Summit County, around the seasonal norm for the last few years. Absorbtion is good - Today there were 8 new listings and 23 properties newly under contract.
So the anser is - yes you will have the opportunity to look at a number of homes, but you must move quickly as people are buying.
The more existential question is whether or not people think this is a good place to escape the cities and suburbs - and that answer is yes.
